African Swine Fever in Poland - News

Danish Transport Standard has released the following notice regarding African Swine Fever in Poland

  • There is a strong suspicion of an outbreak of African Swine Fever close to Warsaw.

  • The following three regions are therefore now included in the increased preparedness and is to be considered as part of the black zone: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Wielkopolskie, and Lódzkie.

  • Further restriction to disease control has been implemented in Poland by the veterinarian authorities.

  • All possible precautions should be taken and disinfection of all vehicles entering Denmark is crucial

  • To eliminate the spread of the disease from humans having contact with Danish pig herds, the restriction of catering waste is emphasized.
