African Swine Fever in Poland - News
Danish Transport Standard has released the following notice regarding African Swine Fever in Poland
There is a strong suspicion of an outbreak of African Swine Fever close to Warsaw.
The following three regions are therefore now included in the increased preparedness and is to be considered as part of the black zone: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Wielkopolskie, and Lódzkie.
Further restriction to disease control has been implemented in Poland by the veterinarian authorities.
All possible precautions should be taken and disinfection of all vehicles entering Denmark is crucial
- To eliminate the spread of the disease from humans having contact with Danish pig herds, the restriction of catering waste is emphasized.
